Ko Anna ahau, no Waikomete taku kainga. Kia ora, I am Anna and I am based in Glen Eden, Auckland. I joined the committee in 2017.

I’m an advocate navigating my way through the social, education and health services to always find the best fit to support our third child with the strengths and challenges that are symptomatic of her FASD.

In July 2021, I was appointed to the position of FASD Navigator in Tāmaki Makaurau and I’m now thoroughly immersed in this role of support, education, networking, training and advocacy for parents, caregivers, grandparents, whānau and professionals.

I’m constantly upskilling about FASD and recently completed the wonderful year-long Training for Facilitators through Fascets, utilising the Neurobehavioural Model developed by Diane Malbin – a brain-based approach to neurodiversity.

Mauri ora.
